Bantry Bay 96

Bantry Bay 96 was a celebration of the 200 Anniversary of the attempted launch of a rebellion by a French fleet headed up by Wolfe Tone in 1796, which was hampered by very violent storms off the South West coast of Ireland.

A logo was created to promote the event with the 96 at its centre creating the stormy waves with a boat atop. The two vibrant colours of the Irish and French tri-colours were incorporated suggesting the link between the two countries. The result was a strong striking visual which was utilised across all media, signage and advertising during the event.
