Cúl4kidz

A new approach was needed in the promotion of Gaelic games to kids in the 6 to 12 age group.

Even though Gaelic games were played by over 300,00 primary kids throughout Ireland, there was little or no media coverage aimed at them.
Working closely with the GAA Games Development Committee, we devised a framework plan to promote the games of hurling and Gaelic football to a new generation.
Cúl4kidz used a multi-media approach consisting of a magazine, website and fun characters. The magazines are a mix of fresh colourful design with interviews and educational content, and the website www.cul4kidz.com became a useful tool in classrooms throughout Ireland.

Cúl4kidz ran from 2003 to 2011 with the Irish Times as a print and distribution partner.
