Laois Athletics is the governing body for the sport in County Laois and the sport has undergone a surge in participation over the last ten years with more and more people taking up a healthier lifestyle. With clubs being formed, and with strong club rivalry the time was right for a fresh revamping of the county logo, something that was never done in its long and illustrious history.
