Catering for the Athletics community in and around Stradbally in Co Laois, Oughaval AC was formed in 2013 and since, it has grown from strength to strength. We developed the crest using a “nib” shape, playing on the monastic heritage of the area. as it was in Stradbally where the original Book of Leinster is reputed to have been created. The Olympic spirit is also included with the flame taking the shape of the original church, which is still to be seen in the area. By playing on the strong heritage of the area we developed a logo that every club member would be proud of.
